HI I’M MUSHFIQUR RAHMAN
PhD Student, North Carolina State University
MY STORY
I am Mushfiqur Rahman, a PhD student in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at North Carolina State University. I am doing my research with Professor Chau-Wai Wong focusing on surface counterfeit detection, multimedia forensics and other challenging computer vision and signal processing problems. Recently I have worked with rPPG based human breath rate estimation and remote breath rate estimation of animal from video data. Robust estimatin of these frequencty signals requires to utilize optical-flow based video stabilization, accumulated power spectral density and smoothness consideratin. Before joining NC state I completed my BS from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
